Training in different clothes and equipment is very important. For one thing — if you don't practice in that gear, you won't know WHERE things are! A couple weeks ago we ran out on an operation in tactical vests and I didn't use the belt keepers that I usually do… and I went reaching for cuffs at one point and couldn't find 'em! The pouch had slid along my belt without the keeper to stop it…
Different gear gives different options. Different options create different choices and movement capabilities.
