Friendticker in Germany started doing this a few months ago with Foursquare and Gowalla following…. it'll be interesting to see whether people are more loyal to the brand (Foursquare or Gowalla) or there is no loyalty when it comes to coupons/offers – in this latter case, people in Germany atleast will move to Friendticker since they have more offers/coupons already……
no, but i know a good punch for a party…its called jungle juice and you can use strawberries.
ok, you take any juice of your like like hawiian punch or you can use iced tea. get like 5-10 bottles depending on your party size.
dump all the bottles inside a tub(not a bathtub, but a storage bin for like clothes or something) and then get like 3 big bottles of vodka, and add to the juice. then take a combo of fruits (aplles, grapes, strawberries, kiwi, pear, any fruits you like, just have to be more than 3) chop them up, and add to the juice, and mark the bin "NOT FOR CHILDREN" lol. Then each person will take a cup, dip it in the bin so they can get the fruits and juice and drink away.
YOU WILL HAVE YOURSELF, A NICE MELLOW DRINK. DO A TASTE TEST, AND IF YOU COULD TASTE THE VODKA, ADD MORE JUICE. YOUR ACTUALLY SUPPOSE TO GET DRUNK WITHOUT TASTING IT. THATS ALL FOLKS.
sorry if i didnt give u the answer you need, but you need to try that drink. i will not wrong you about that. and it'll only taste good if made by the bulk, not just for 2 people.
They both manipulate and play on their audience’s collective emotions to sell them something – in Gaga’s case, music (I’d say records, but I guess mp3s are what kids like these days) and in Palin’s case, her political platform.
Right – some could be denials or wishful thinking. But also it could be that doubt was brought on by logical thoughts or new information. Moments would describe a period in time while mini refers to size.
So, not quite similar. But I like "mini denial". I have never heard it and think it quite a creative description.
Reasoning might be more around brand protection. Again- if they don't like what they see (or don't see), they won't want to partner with someone that might express a bad representation of their brand. Ultimately control and limiting their liability.
Overstock might be a bit of a stretch- but this is definitely the case with other, brand sensitive companies… Saks, JCrew, etc…
