Love is a subtle thing. Opacity is how transparent the entire layer (Master opacity) is.
Fill is the transparency of anything painted ONTO a layer. If you paint a blue stroke on a white background you have a blue mark on white.
If you lower the Opacity of the layer, the entire image, blue and white, will become more "see through." If you lower the fill (Interior) opacity, the blue will become more see through, but the white will remain solid.

I was born and raised in the U.S. by American parents (themselves born to Americans) but given a tradtional name from our family’s ethnic hertitage. Growing up, I did have to correct people’s pronunciation and spelling, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. The unusual name allowed me to not be a Jennifer A. Jenny B. or Jen C. in school and kept me connected to my family’s heritage.
